Privacy

The short version: your camera image never leaves your device. There are no accounts, no cookies and no trackers.

Your camera

When you start an experience, your browser asks for the camera. Every frame is analysed right there in the browser by the tracking models (hand, face and hair detection). No frame is uploaded, recorded or stored anywhere.

Photos you take in Frame It

Polaroids live in the page's memory only. They are saved to your device when you press Print & save or Share, and they disappear when you close or reload the page.

What your browser downloads

Like any website, these servers see a normal request from your browser (including your IP address) when the page loads what it needs:

None of them receive your camera image or anything you do on the page.

Voice in Cursed Hands

The Japanese call-outs use your browser's built-in speech. Some browsers use online voices for this (for example Chrome's Google voices or Edge's "Online" voices), which sends the fixed call-out text, such as ryōiki tenkai, to that provider. You can switch the voice off in Settings.

What is kept on your device

Your settings (volumes, toggles) and your best exorcism score are saved in your browser's local storage so they survive a reload. They never leave your device; clearing this site's data in your browser removes them.
